Spotlight: Yellow Submarine Preschool of Arts

Learning arts doesn’t only teach kids to be expressive, but it also helps them understand other key areas of learning, such as language, maths, and science.

When kids are encouraged to express their thoughts, emotions and feelings and take risks in making art that represents their identity, they learn how to make important choices and decisions; which is essential for young children, even more important for adults.

Named after a song by the English rock band the Beatles, Yellow Submarine is not a traditional preschool, but an art university designed for children.

Co-founded by a former architect, Julia Bakar, Yellow Submarine seeks to offer a place of learning that teaches practical life skills to preschoolers while fostering emotional, physical and cognitive development.
