Curriculum Designed To Guide And Capture The Learning & Development Of Children

At Big Apple, curriculum means all the interactions, learning experiences, routines and events, be they planned or unplanned, that occur at the preschool’s premises. Classes are taught by a team of highly experienced and qualified teachers. The principal ensures that her aspiring team of teachers receives ongoing training throughout the year to keep them up-to-date with the latest teaching methodologies.

Benchmarked against Big Apple’s Concept; a notion that places a greater emphasis on STEAM, Little Speaker, Fine Motor Skills, Thematic Approach, and Cambridge Young Learners; teachers help children develop language and vocabulary as well as elementary numeracy, and improve physical and social skills. Learning Environment That Responds  To Children’s Interests & Their Exploration

Big Apple Setapak offers premium facilities available for children aged 3 – 6 years old. To encourage good reading habits in children, there are tree-like shelves with a huge collection of storybooks in its library. The spacious Art Room provides children with activities such as painting, drawing and colouring. Art classes at Big Apple combine the artistic technique and authentic self-expression. Little Kitchen aims to equip children with culinary, tasting and cooking skills. Music Room, on the other hand, provides musical lessons, such as performance, rhythmic speech, movement, singing, and listening, among others.

Big Apple Setapak recognises the uniqueness of each child and family and the need for children to develop an understanding and respect for themselves and others. Children at Big Apple experience lots of fun activities that have an educational and caring purpose.
